RPV (Remotely Piloted Vehicle) was a game for Atari ST mainly developed by the then-student Don Geddis, while he was a summer intern at FTL Games (between June 1986 and October 1986). It was based on a prototype demo for Macintosh that he had previously worked on at his university and that was shown at the Summer CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 1986 in Chicago between June 1 and June 4, 1986.
Mike Newton was also a programmer of the game, as well as Doug Bell and Wayne Holder for minor contributions.
David Darrow created the box art, and game boxes were even produced. Development was quite advanced, but never fully completed after the return of Don Geddis to Standford university, and the game was never released.
The game was a 3D wireframe combat flight simulation. Two players could play together using two Atari ST computers connected with two MIDI cables that would have been supplied in the box (one cable in each box, two copies needed for two players).
This article describes the story of this game what it would have been.

The game was shown at the Summer CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 1986 in Chicago between June 1 and June 4, 1986.
It was also announced in some magazines (see below).
